Our Agricoltura ZeroNove in Borgo San Rocco used to look very different. When we first arrived to Castino the land was a steep jungle of abandoned, old hazelnut trees, and it has been abused by chemical spray products regularly. Since our arrival we have been working on healing the terreno - today you can see an almost parkwise organised land, where herbs, hazelnuts, vegetables and olives can grow in a healthy environment. We tried to keep it as natural as can be, except for some smaller or bigger steps to handle the steepness when we work the land all by hand. We are convinced that while the body works, mind and soul become free.

Before a meal comes the production then - and who doesn't like to know what they're eating? The goal oriented work on the land is always a project that keeps several years in mind, based very much on natural processes.
